Malaysia's Optimal plans Sept glycol ethers plant overhaul

MELBOURNE (ICIS)--Optimal Chemicals (Malaysia) plans to shut its 60,000 tonne/year glycol ethers plant at Kerteh in Terengganu for a major overhaul in September, a source close to the company said on Thursday.

The plant will be off line between early September and early November, the source said.

Other glycol ethers makers in Asia include Lotte Chemical in South Korea, KH Neochem in Japan and Dynamic International in China.
