SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) will restart its 360,000 tonne/year PVC plant at Hazira in Gujarat by 15 March, a company source said on Friday.

The plant was shut on 4 March because of a shortage of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) feedstock, according to market sources.

The producer had initially planned the turnaround for 10 March, but advanced the turnaround because of a shortage in its VCM availability, they added.
