SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Mitsui Chemicals is expected to announce the restart date for its 40,000 tonne/year melamine plant at Osaka in Japan by next week, a company source said on Friday.
The melamine unit was taken off line in end-September last year for annual maintenance, the source said.
The shutdown was then extended indefinitely amid poor market conditions, the source added.
