China’s Shandong Shiji Xinyuan to start up LNG plant in late Oct

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Chinese firm Shandong Shiji Xinyuan Natural Gas plans to start up a 300,000 cbm/day gas liquefaction plant at Jining in Shandong in late October, a company source said on Tuesday.

The yuan (CNY) 680m ($109m) project will mainly process natural gas supplied from PetroChina’s Hebei-Nanjing gas pipeline, and has two 2,000cbm storage tanks, the source said.

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) output will be distributed in Shandong province, east China, the source said.
