China’s Sinopec Beijing Yanshan to shut a CDU from 20 April

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec Beijing Yanshan is planning to shut its 3m tonne/year crude distillation unit (CDU) in Beijing from 20 April for regular maintenance, a company source said on Tuesday.

The turnaround will last until 2 June, according to the source.

An 800,000 tonne/year fluid catalytic cracker (FCC) will also be brought off line at the same time for a turnaround, the source said.

Sinopec Beijing Yanshan also plans to shut its 8m tonne/year CDU at the same site sometime in in August-September for a month-long maintenance, added the source.
