SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Inner Mongolia Wuhai Chemical plans to shut its 300,000 tonne/year caustic soda plant in Inner Mongolia on 20 March for about five days of maintenance, a company source said on Tuesday.
The plant is operating at full capacity, the source added.
The company is offering 32% liquid membrane caustic soda at yuan (CNY) 1,700/tonne ($273/tonne) and 99% solid caustic soda at CNY2,350/tonne on 19 March, according to Chemease, an ICIS service in China.
