Polish industrial production falls 2.1% year on year in February

LONDON (ICIS)--Poland's industrial output contracted 2.1% year on year in February, the Polish Central Statistics Office said on Tuesday.

Output fell in 17 of the 34 monitored industrial categories, with the manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers down by 5.9%, it added.

Poland is the only country in central and eastern Europe not to have experienced a recession since the onset of the financial crisis.
