China’s Zhejiang Shuyang to start up new ADA line in April

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Zhejiang Shuyang Chemical Co is expected to start up its new 80,000 tonne/year adipic acid (ADA) plant at Quzhou in April this year, a company source said on Wednesday.

Trial runs at the new unit in eastern Zhejiang province will take place next month with on-spec production expected in May, the source said.

Domestic major ADA producers include Shandong Haili Chemical, Liaoyang Petrochemical and Shandong Hongye Chemical Group Co.
