NOON SNAPSHOT – Europe Markets Summary

LONDON (ICIS)--Here is Friday’s midday European oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.

CRUDE: May WTI: $92.90/bbl, up 45 cents/bbl. May BRENT: $107.60/bbl, up 13 cents/bbl
Early losses were recouped as the morning progressed, but traders were closely watching the financial crisis in Cyprus.

NAPHTHA: $907-910/tonne, up $2/tonne on the low end, up $3/tonne on the high end
The cargo range was assessed up from Thursday evening on a firmer crack spread. April swaps were assessed at $884-886/tonne.

BENZENE: $1,255-1,270/tonne, up $5-10/tonne
March bids opened higher this morning at $1,255/tonne but were not met with any offers. April was valued at $1,250-1,270/tonne.

STYRENE: $1,625-1,640/tonne, down $5/tonne on the buy side
The range for March was relatively steady this morning in a subdued market, with buyers holding back in anticipation of lower numbers next month. April was valued at $1,640-1,670/tonne.
