EU PC imports up 26% in 2012 against 2011- Eurostat

LONDON (ICIS)--The EU imported 26% more polycarbonate (PC) from the rest of the world in 2012 than in 2011, trade statistics from Eurostat showed on Friday.

In December 2012, the EU imported 39% more PC than in December 2011, data from the statistical agency showed.

Exports to the rest of the world went up by 4% in 2012 compared with 2011.

However, exports from the EU were down by 3% in December 2012 compared with December 2011.
