Pre-discount prices were heard in the mid-60s cents/lb for March, down from the mid-70s cents/lb in February, as assessed by ICIS.
The weakness was expected.
Barge material has begun to settle down by 5 cents/lb ($110/tonne, €85/tonne) for March, pressured downward by upstream propylene, which fell by 6 cents/lb for March and is expected to fall similarly for April.
Hosted by the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM), the IPC continues through Tuesday.
