NOON SNAPSHOT – Europe Markets Summary

LONDON (ICIS)--Here is Monday’s midday European oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.

CRUDE: May WTI: $94.20/bbl, up 49 cents/bbl. May BRENT: $108.32/bbl, up 66 cents/bbl
Crude oil futures edged higher on Monday after Cyprus successfully negotiated a bailout deal, preventing the country from a default and exit from the eurozone.

NAPHTHA: $901-916/tonne, up $11/tonne on the low end, up $10/tonne on the high end
The cargo range was assessed up from Friday evening on higher crude oil prices and a firmer crack spread. April swaps were assessed at $890-891/tonne.

BENZENE: $1,265-1,285/tonne, up $5/tonne on the sell side
April was relatively steady this morning in a quiet market so far.

STYRENE: $1,625-1,640/tonne, steady
There were no firm bids or offers heard so far this morning, and the ranges for March and April were unchanged.
