MELBOURNE (ICIS)--South Korea's Lotte Chemical is in the process of ramping up the operating rate at its 50,000 tonnes/year glycol ethers plant in Daesan after completing a tunaround, a company source said on Monday.
The plant was restarted on 24 March following a scheduled maintenance that began on 1 March, the source said.
The operating rate of the plant should reach 100% capacity by 27 March, the source added.
Due to the plant overhaul, the producer's March glycol ethers export availability was reduced to 2,000 tonnes from the usual 3,000 tonnes a month.
