SAN ANTONIO, Texas (ICIS)--Mexican producer Negromex (INSA) said on Monday it plans to have two new rubber-making facilities in China up and running in 2014.
Speaking on the sidelines of the International Petrochemical Conference (IPC), a company source said its proposed acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) plant near Nanjing will start producing about 30,000 tonnes/year by the first quarter of 2014.
A second facility near Panjing, which will produce about 100,000 tonnes/year of styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), will be operational in the second half of 2014, the source said.
Hosted by the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM), the IPC continues through Tuesday.
