LONDON (ICIS)--Fertilizer marketer NF Trading will sell all ammonia and urea produced by Ukraine’s Odessa Port Plant (OPZ) from next month after the pair agreed an exclusive marketing deal, the Finland-headquartered company confirmed on Monday.

Under the agreement, which will start on 1 April and run for at least a year, NF Trading will market an additional 50,000-60,000 tonnes of ammonia per month, as well as a similar amount of urea.

Nitrogen fertilizers produced by OPZ were previously sold by Kiev-based Agrofertrans (AFT).

No other details of the agreement have been disclosed.

NF Trading usually sells 140,000-150,000 tonnes of Russian and Ukrainian ammonia each month, along with 130,000-140,000 tonnes of urea.

The Helsinki-based company also sells at least 20,000 tonnes of ammonia and urea produced at the recently restarted Nitrofert plant in Estonia.
