NOON SNAPSHOT – Europe Markets Summary

LONDON (ICIS)--Here is Tuesday’s midday European oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.

CRUDE: May WTI: $95.42/bbl, up 61 cents/bbl. May BRENT: $108.29/bbl, up 12 cents/bbl
rude oil futures gained on Tuesday as investors turned their attention away from Cyprus, which managed to broker an eleventh hour deal with international lenders to prevent its financial sector from collapsing.

NAPHTHA: $891-894/tonne, up $2-3/tonne
The cargo range was assessed up from Monday evening on higher crude oil prices. April swaps were assessed at $883-885/tonne.

BENZENE: $1,280-1,295/tonne, up $5-10
European spot benzene prices moved up on the back of gains in Asia, however, the market was very quiet in terms of public deals. May was valued at $1,280-1,300/tonne.

STYRENE: $1,640-1,655/tonne, down $5-10/tonne
Spot styrene prices were a touch lower in a quiet market. May was valued at $1,640-1,660/tonne. No public deals were confirmed.
