SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Samsung Fine Chemical restarted its 60,000 tonne/year epichlorohydrin (ECH) plant in Ulsan on 25 March following scheduled maintenance, a company source said on Tuesday.
The plant was shut in early March for a schedule maintenance of around 20 days, the source added.
The plant is currently operating at 50% capacity. It will gradually increase its operating rate to full capacity, the source said.
