Germany chemical engineer M+W Group acquires IPSC

LONDON (ICIS)--German chemical plant builder and engineer M+W Group has taken over engineering and consulting firm IPSC to further strengthen its chemicals and energy business, it said on Tuesday.

IPSC, based in Schwedt, Brandenburg state, employs a staff of about 40. It is focussed on oil, gas and chemicals. Financial terms were not disclosed.

IPSC will be renamed M+W IPSC. It will be headed by its current general manager, Helmut Kuhn, and M+W executive Uwe Gaudig.
