LONDON (ICIS)--The maintenance turnaround at Polish fertilizer producer Zaklady Azotowe Pulawy (ZAP) is ongoing as work has been delayed by cold temperatures, a source from the company said on Tuesday.

“There are some restrictions arising from the low temperatures,” the source said. “It has been around minus 10 to minus 12 degrees Celsius at night here.”

The source said the turnaround would take at least another week to 10 days to complete.

The outage at the 30,000 tonne/year Melamine II plant began in early March and was expected to last about 20 days.

ZAP is in Pulawy, eastern Poland, and has a melamine nameplate capacity of 96,000 tonnes/year.
