LONDON (ICIS)--Netherlands-based OCI Melamine’s planned shutdown at its Geleen melamine plant will begin in the coming weeks, a company source said on Tuesday.
“The shutdown has not begun yet. [There is] no change in our plans, we will go down as planned in the coming weeks,” the source said.
The turnaround is expected to take three weeks. The 150,000 tonne/year melamine producer is building up its stock levels and intends to fulfil its contractual requirements during the outage.
