HOUSTON (ICIS)--South American base oil producer Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) verified on Tuesday it is making several adjustments to its base oil prices in March.
Effective on 25 March, PDVSA Solvent neutral (N) prices for 150N viscosity product increases by 22 cents/gal, with mid viscosity 300/350N base stock prices moving up by 35 cents/gal.
The increase brings the 150N price to $4.08/gal.
Heavy grade 500/550N product prices will decrease by 14 cents/gal on the same effective date, while brighstock base oil prices will move down by 13 cents/gal.
The decrease will bring the brightstock price to $4.48/gal.
PDVSA light grades 85N and 100N base oil prices will not change, remaining at $3.82/gal.
PDVSA is the Venezuela state-owned oil and natural gas company, with 1,250 bbls/day of Group I base oil production located at Amuay, Venezuela and 4,800 bbls/day Group I production at a Cardon, Venezuela.
