China’s Inner Mongolia Junzheng Chemical shuts PVC plant for two days

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Inner Mongolia Junzheng Chemical has started maintenance for its 300,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant at Wuda Industry Park in Wuhai city after shutting it on 27 March, a company source said on Wednesday.

The maintenance shutdown will last for around two days, with the producer planning to restart the PVC plant on 29 March, the source added.

Domestic prices for PVC in China were at yuan (CNY) 6,450/tonne ($1,039/tonne) EXWH in east China and CNY6,500/tonne EXWH in south China on 27 March, according to Chemease, an ICIS service in China.
