Maintenance works at the facility are expected to last for about a month, the source said.
The facility that will be shut includes the company’s No 3 crude AA unit and its 30,000 tonne/year 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2EH-A), 60,000 tonne/year butyl acrylate (butyl-A), 30,000 tonne/year ethyl acrylate (ethyl-A) units, according to the source.
