LONDON (ICIS)--India’s Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) has issued its second ammonia tender of 2013 as the manufacturer looks to secure a small cargo for April delivery, market sources said on Wednesday.
FACT is seeking a 7,000-tonne parcel for delivery to the west coast port of Kochi (Cochin) between 17and 20 April, although the final volume could be plus/minus 5%.
The tender will close at 11.30am local time on 2 April and offers are requested to remain valid until 8 April.
In late February, FACT issued a tender for 8,000 tonnes of ammonia that was awarded to Qatari marketer Muntajat – which sells fertilizer made by Qafco – at $590/tonne (€460/tonne) CFR (cost & freight). That cargo was delivered on the LPG tanker Almarona on 20 March.
The only other bidder for the last tender was trading group Transammonia (Trammo), which offered $625/tonne CFR Cochin.
