SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Here is Friday’s midday Asia oil and chemical markets summary from ICIS.

CRUDE:
There are no crude snapshots for Asia on 29 March because of a public holiday.

NAPHTHA:
There are no naphtha snapshots for Asia on 29 March because of a public holiday.

BENZENE: $1,257-1,270/tonne FOB Korea, stable        
Discussions were few as most players were away from the market because of a public holiday.

TOLUENE: $1,080-1,090/tonne FOB Korea, stable         
Trading activity was thin in the morning session, with bids for June cargoes at $1,090-1,095/tonne FOB Korea.      

ETHYLENE: $1,260-1,290/tonne CFR NE Asia, stable
Activity picked up as some Chinese end-users restocked for April. A 2,300 tonne parcel may have been booked at $1,290/tonne CFR China for second-half April delivery.

PROPYLENE: $1,330-1,350/tonne CFR NE Asia, stable
Selling ideas for second-half April/May shipment were heard at $1,360-1,370/tonne CFR NE Asia or above against buying ideas at the low-$1,300s/tonne CFR NE Asia.
