Taiwan’s FPCC settles March butadiene contract lower by $171/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) has settled its March butadiene (BD) contract at $1,728/tonne (€1,348/tonne), down by $171/tonne from its February’s final settlement price, a company source said on Monday.

FPCC’s February BD contract was concluded at $1,899/tonne pipeline DEL (delivered).

The producer had initially settled its February contract price at $1,914/tonne DEL.

FPCC’s monthly BD contract price is settled on a retroactive basis.
