South Korea’s YNCC settles March BD contract down by $269/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has settled its March butadiene (BD) contract at $1,758/tonne (€1,371/tonne), down by $269/tonne from the previous month, a company source said on Monday.

The producer’s contract price settlement for February was $2,027/tonne pipeline DEL (delivered).

YNCC derives its monthly contract price settlement from the average spot BD prices for that particular month.

In the week ended 29 March, BD spot prices averaged at $1,475/tonne CFR (cost & freight) NE (northeast) Asia, according to ICIS data.
