SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Ningxia Dadi Chemo-industrial plans to shut its 100,000 tonne/year vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) plant and its downstream 50,000 tonne/year polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) plant in early April for maintenance, a company source said on Monday.

The maintenance will last for about two weeks, the source said.

Meanwhile, its No 2 160,000tonne/year VAM plant and its downstream 80,000 tonne/year PVOH plant is under construction and due to start up by the end of 2013, the source added.

Ningxia Dadi Chemo-industrial is a major PVOH producer located in Yinchuan city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
