SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Swiss chemical distributor Brenntag Schweizerhall said on Tuesday that it will invest in a sulfuric acid dilution plant located in Infrapark Industrial Park at Muttenz in Switzerland.
The company has teamed up with Bayer CropScience and Infrapark Baselland for this investment.
Investment in the plant and a newly installed pipeline at the site will allow Brenntag to supply diluted sulphuric acid to Bayer CropScience, the company said in a statement.
The company added that it hopes to concentrate its sulphuric acid activities at a single site.
Brenntag Schweizerhall said it has further plans to relocate other products on its portfolio to Infrapark Industrial Park as well as install additional pipelines and tanks at the site.
