BRISBANE, Australia (ICIS)--China’s methyl methacrylate (MMA) imports in February decreased by 49.4% from January due to the short working month in February as a result of the Lunar New Year festivities, market players said on Wednesday.

The country imported 10,667 tonnes of MMA in February, 10,429 tonnes lower month on month, according to China Customs data.

Import prices in February averaged $2,138/tonne (€1,667/tonne), representing a 3.3% increase from the previous month, the data showed.
