SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shindoo Chemi-Industry Co (Shindoo) will build a nitrogen phosphorous potassium (NPK) fertilizers project with a total capacity of 800,000 tonnes/year in Henan province, the company announced on Wednesday.
The yuan (CNY) 240m ($39m) project in central China will comprise five lines, three of which will have a 200,000 tonne/year capacity, and the remaining two will each have a 100,000 tonne/year capacity, the company said in a statement.
Project construction will start after the company secures land warrants from the local government of Henan province, and is expected to be completed in one year, it said.
No actual date was set on when construction of the project will start.
Shindoo, which is based in China's southwestern province of Sichuan, is mainly engaged in the production of soda ash and fertilizer.
