SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec Guangzhou Petrochemical is planning to shut its 8m tonne/year crude distillation unit (CDU) at Guangzhou in Guangdong province on 1 May for scheduled maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.
The turnaround is expected to last around 50 days, according to the source.
The producer’s 5.5m tonne/year CDU at the same site will continue to run at normal operating rates, the source added.
