LONDON (ICIS)--Vinnolit has lifted the force majeure declared after a technical problem at its facility in Knapsack, ?xml:namespace>
A technical problem affecting VCM facilities at the plant began on 12 March, and customers were informed of the force majeure declaration on 14-15 March.
The facilities affected by the technical issue were restarted on 22 March following repair work, and the force majeure was lifted on 28 March.
Vinnolit’s Knapsack plant has a chlorine capacity of 250,000 tonnes/year, while its Gendorf facility has a chlorine capacity of 180,000 tonnes/year.
