HOUSTON (ICIS) – US imports of butadiene (BD) fell in February by 37% from a year ago, according to data released Monday by the US International Trade Commission.
February BD imports were 38,480 tonnes, compared with 61,060 tonnes a year ago. February imports were down by 44% compared with January, when the import figure was 68,256 tonnes.
The biggest declines were in imports from Brazil, which were down 26%, and Saudi Arabia, which were down 15%.
