US ABS February imports fell by 11.3% from year ago – ITC

HOUSTON (ICIS) – US imports of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene decreased by 11.3% from a year ago, according to a report issued Monday by the US International Trade Commission.

US February ABS imports were 11,472 tonnes, compared with 12,929 tonnes a year ago. The biggest declines were in imports from Japan (-60%), Mexico (-25%), and Malaysia (-21%). These declines were slightly offset by imports from Korea and Taiwan, which each rose less than 5%.
