Korea’s LG Chem buys 25,000 tonnes naphtha at $20.50/tonne premium

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s LG Chem has bought a 25,000-tonne naphtha cargo for delivery to Daesan in May, traders said on Tuesday.

The deal for the spot cargo was done at a premium of $20.50/tonne (€15.79/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), they said.

LG Chem last bought a similar-sized spot naphtha cargo for delivery in the second half of April, at a premium of $23.50/tonne (€17.86/tonne) to Japan quotes.
