LONDON (ICIS)--M+W Group has won a contract to build Israel’s largest photovoltaic power plant, the Germany-based international chemicals and energy engineering firm said on Tuesday.
The 55MW plant, located 100km south of Tel Aviv, will feature more than 180,000 crystalline PV modules that will be installed over the next 18 months, M+W said.
M+W received the order from Enlight Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of Israel’s Eurocom Group. Financial details were not disclosed.
