TORONTO (ICIS)--SNC-Lavalin (SNC) has won a contract to provide engineering services to Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refinery (YASREF) in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, the Montreal-based international petrochemicals and energy engineering firm said on Tuesday.
The two-year contract to SNC’s Saudi affiliate, SNC-Lavalin Fayez Engineering, includes a range of engineering services for a new refining and petrochemical facility in Yanbu, the company said without disclosing details.
“Our international presence and experience in the oil and gas sector was a key reason for this success,” said Neil Bruce, SNC’s president, resources and environment.
The latest contract award came after SNC recently won a similar services contract from Saudi Aramco, Bruce added.
