SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Yingkou Kanghui Petrochemical on Wednesday began offering to the market output from its new 100,000 /tonne polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) unit in Liaoning province, according to market sources.
The sales volume that the company has to offer from the new unit is still low but the plant’s output is expected to result in a surplus in the market in time to come due to its large production capacity, they added.
Current demand for the material in the domestic market is low, according to market observers.
