SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has sold by tender a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo to PetroChina for loading from the New Mangalore port in late May, traders said on Wednesday.

The deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $38.50/tonne (€29.26/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board), they added.

The loading dates will be on 26-28 May.

The premiums have decreased from levels in the high $40s/tonne previously because of a decline in petrochemical demand, traders said.
