EU 2012 ethanolamines imports up 3.64% year on year - Eurostat

LONDON (ICIS)--The EU’s 2012 ethanolamines imports from the rest of the world increased by 3.64% overall from the previous year, official data showed on Wednesday.

Imports of diethanolamine (DEA) and triethanolamine (TEA) into the EU27 were both up from 2011, while monoethanolamine (MEA) volumes declined slightly.

According to the Eurostat data, DEA and TEA increased by 8.7% and 10.1% respectively, while MEA fell by 1.9%.
