SINGAPORE (ICIS)--HMC Polymers plans to conduct 5-15 days of maintenance at its three polypropylene (PP) plants in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, starting next month, a source close to the company said on Friday.

The plants with capacities of 250,000 tonnes/year, 200,000 tonnes/year and 300,000 tonnes/year will be shut in turns, the source said.

One of the plants would be shut in early May, according to the source, but he could not yet say which unit will be taken off line first.
