HOUSTON (ICIS)--US jet fuel inventories increased for the week ended 12 April as consumption of the product fell, a government agency’s report showed on Wednesday.
Inventories increased to 41m bbl for the week ended 12 April, up from 39.7m bbl the previous week.
Jet fuel consumption rates fell by 102,000 bbl/day to 1.256m bbl/day that same week, the US Energy Information Administration said.
Production rates also decreased, dropping by 48,000 bbl/day to a rate of 1.484m bbl/day.
