Correction: In the ICIS news story headlined "Mexican ACN to China for $1,585/tonne CFR – sources" dated 18 April 2013, please read in the first paragraph …$1,585/tonne (€1,220/tonne)… instead of …$1,785 (€1,374/tonne)…. A corrected story follows.
HOUSTON (ICIS)--A Mexican acrylonitrile (ACN) producer is sending a 3,000 tonne cargo to China for May delivery priced at $1,585/tonne (€1,220/tonne) CFR (cost and freight), sources said on Thursday.
Factoring in shipping, that would price the cargo at about $1,700/tonne US Gulf, one source said.
But another source said the deal probably went through a broker, which would price it at more like $1,635/tonne FOB (free on board) US Gulf.
($1 = €0.77)
