SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s SK Global Chemicals (SKGC) is on schedule to shut its No 2 Ulsan-based paraxylene (PX) and orthoxylene (OX) units in May for a turnaround, a company source said on Friday.
The plant can produce up to 450,000 tonnes/year of PX and 100,000 tonnes/year of OX.
The shutdown period is expected to last for 40-45 days, the source added.
