SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Yisheng Petrochemical will shut its two purified terephthalic acid (PTA) units at Ningbo in Zhejiang province on 24 April, four days later than originally planned, a source close to the company said on Monday.
Its 2.2m tonne/year plant at the site will be shut for 10 days, while no specific restart date was set for the smaller unit, which has a 650,000 tonne/year capacity, the source said.
In Dalian, Yisheng Petrochemical has a 3.3m tonne/year plant that is running at 80% of capacity.
