SINGAPORE (ICIS)--ReneSola, a producer of solar photovoltaic wafers and modules, may operate its polysilicon facility in Meishan, Sichuan province, at full capacity soon, a company official said on Tuesday.
The official did not elaborate on when the facility will hit full rate.
Zhejiang-based Renesola only has one polysilicon facility in Meishan, Sichuan. The company’s current combined Phase I and Phase II polysilicon capacity totals 10,000 tonnes, the official said.
“As the ramp-up process usually takes around 1-2 months, we are hoping to run at full utilization soon,” he added.
