LONDON (ICIS)--A major three-yearly maintenance turnaround is underway at Vencorex’s TDI plant at Le-Pont-de-Claix, in France, a company source said on Tuesday.

The unit went down around 21 April and the turnaround is expected to last for around four-to-five weeks.

The French TDI unit is a joint venture between Thailand-based petrochemical and refining company PTT Global and Swedish-based producer Perstorp.

The plant has the nameplate capacity to produce around 125,000 tonnes/year, according to the company source.
