HOUSTON (ICIS)--US jet fuel consumption increased for the week ended 19 April as inventories of the product fell, a government agency’s report showed on Wednesday.
Inventories decreased by 1.1m bbl, or 2.7%, to 39.9m bbl, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said.
Jet fuel consumption rates moved higher by 338,000 bbl/day to 1.594m bbl/day that same week
Production rates also increased, gaining 22,000 bbl/day to a rate of 1.506m bbl/day.
