Korea Alcohol to shut Ulsan etac/butac plant for catalyst change

MELBOURNE (ICIS)--South Korean producer Korea Alcohol Industrial plans to shut its 85,000 tonne/year ethyl acetate (etac)/butyl acetate (butac) swing plant in Ulsan between 5-10 May for catalyst change, a company official said on Friday.

Korea Alcohol is South Korea’s sole producer of etac and butac.
